Physiotherapy can help almost all conditions which have any of these symptoms-pain, weakness, stiffness or loss of movement, dizziness, coordination problems, spasm.

Treatments that we can offer include (but are not limited to):

  • Joint Mobilisations - Manipulation, Mulligan techniques, Muscle energy Techniques
  • Exercise Therapy - Stretching, strengthening, plyometrics, McKenzie exercises, stability exercises, biofeedback (to retrain muscles to work correctly)
  • Soft tissue mobilisation - Trigger point release, massage, frictions, myofascial release, cupping, acupressure
  • Electrotherapy - Ultrasound, TENS, Laser, Interferential and Pulsed Shortwave
  • Post-surgery rehabilitation
  • Taping Techniques - Kinesio taping, splinting and bracing
  • Acupuncture
  • Posture and movement assessment (biomechanics)

  • Provision of custom made wrist and hand/finger splints
  • Scar management and desensitization - Following surgery or injury

  • Balance retraining - Exercises to improve balance reactions
  • Bobath concept, functional motor retraining, spasm management (Neurological patients)
  • Particle repositioning manoeuvres - Specialized movements to resolve the different forms of BPPV (Epley, Semont, Bar-B Que technique)
  • Tailored exercises to either retrain the vestibular system to help it adapt or habituate
  • Relaxation methods - Anxiety worsens the symptoms of dizziness and pain. Knowing how to remain calm can greatly reduce symptoms
  • Bladder retraining
