In Wrexham, we aim to provide an appointment within 24 hours as we are open from 8am to 7pm daily, and Saturday mornings. We have no waiting lists and can usually provide times to suit most people. Just call us on 01978 312407 to arrange an appointment.

You do not need a doctor’s referral before you come for treatment. However if you are using private medical insurance you may need to see your GP first, but check with your insurance company.

First Visit

Your first visit will last 30 - 45 minutes, depending on the complexity of the problem.
A detailed history will be taken, followed by a physical assessment, so you may want to wear or bring appropriate clothing eg shorts, t-shirt, trainers etc. However our treatment rooms are quite private.
Following the assessment your physiotherapist will discuss his/her findings with you and  agree a plan of treatment. You will be given some idea of the likely outcome and expected number of treatments needed, and usually treatment will start at the first visit.  If you have several areas requiring treatment, or have a particularly complicated problem, then the first visit may involve assessment only and no treatment.

COSTS

We charge £40 for your first assessment and £38 for each following 30 minute session.

Payment can be made by cash, cheque or BACS. Alternatively we can invoice your insurance company directly if you provide us with the details.  However, if your claim is refused we would like to remind you that you will be responsible for all treatment costs.

Cancellations

Please try to give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment.
A charge may be made if insufficient notice is given, or if you fail to attend an appointment.
